Description
A fresh and easy to drink wine is produced by Vistopia and Grace Vineyard
Grape Variety: 55% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Merlot, 10% Syrah
Fermentation Type: 15% of the fruits (Cabernet Sauvignon) undergo whole cluster fermentation (Carbonic Maceration). The remainder 85% are de-stemed and fermented seperately at low temperatures in stainless steel tanks. Zero sulfur added.
Tasting notes: Red to dark fruit, violet, plums and fine spice are dominant on the nose. A light tone of carbonic maceration characteristic (banana, chewing gum and bright cherry fruits) underneath. The palate is medium to full in texture. It is juicy, with fresh silk tannin and loads of sweet fruit profile supported by fresh acidity. The flavors of carbonic maceration, plums and slight white chocolate note were re-enforced on the palate. Lengthy finish.
